Biking in pouring snow is just like biking in pouring rain, only colder.

Snow Biking
So a big snowstorm is just beginning to hit DC. Our office, along with the federal government, closed early as big white flakes that could become 18 inches of snow began falling. I've been biking to work and have enjoyed it so much that I've continued all through the winter for the first time. I just raced home through the snow and here's my winter bike commuting observation for the day:
