So yesterday I was interviewed on a local radio show in Houston called The Peace Hour. My interview followed a group of kids and their teacher from a Waldorf school talking about how they are learning and working for peace and the environment - a tough act to follow, especially since it ended with children singing a peace song. I mean how can you make U.S. policy interesting after that?! Anyway, if you want to hear me trying to describe what it is I do and some about FCNL, click here. I come on about half way through so you'll either have to listen to the kids first or speed up to the middle. Feel free to give me tips for improving my interview skills! I need it. Having listened to the interview again I already know I have to stop saying uh and um - I hate it when people do that on the radio!
Thanks to Laura Holliday for getting me the interview! And to The Peace Hour for having me on.

Hey Bridget - you sounded great! You're so cool.
Good info about what you do, and I wouldn't have even noticed the ums and uhs - but of course you are your worst critic.
Love you!

Sounded great to me. I think she umed and ahed as much or more than you did.
You have certainly learned from those politicians! Even if there is no answer to the question they give you, you can always use the opportunity to say good things. I was really impressed.
My constructive comment is: Use "certainly" in place of "sure" more.
Love you,
Me
