Snow Taller than Pablo!

30 inches, four snow days, and more of the white stuff than DC has ever recorded in a winter (55 inches)! What do we love about the blizzard of 2010?...

Shoveling!

Our car's new look

After a blinding blizzard yesterday and a foot more of snow, the sun is back out and the winter wonderland is already turning to sloppy mush. We're thankful for the pause in life that the snow brought - time for snow angels and hot chocolate, reading books and playing backgammon, nestling down together at home for a bit. We also did some work, went for walks, and pulled out every toy we could find in the house to keep Pablo and ourselves from going stir crazy. Today we're digging out with the rest of the city and life will be back to its normal, all-too-hectic pace before we know it. What a gift of time a blizzard can give.

It's nice to see Pablo standing there with the green suit and a smile in his face, hoping this cold weather is not bothering him a lot. Is great to see my big boy in his 23 months (in a while he would be 2 ¡wow it's realy quick!)
I'll always think about him. Send my love and kisses to my favorite nephew. Hugs TOSCA (IF),

Wow! thanks for posting more pics of the snow and snow bunnies! That is an insane amount of snow - where are you going to put all that until it melts? A FB friend of mine who lives there said she spent an hour shoveling out the wrong car! I can believe it with the cars buried that much. Glad you enjoyed the downtime and family time, since you didn't have a choice about it! Love you!
